He received a Silver Key Award in 2001 at the age of 16, and his work was displayed in the Woodruff Arts Center in Atlanta. Working many different jobs he found himself working construction. Learning all he could about the construction field, he decided to pursue an education in Art. This brought him to Kennesaw State University were he studied all aspects of fine art. Always wanting to explore the world, Jeff was given the opportunity to travel to Europe where he studied art. Inspired by the many different architectural artists, sculptures and painters of Europe, he became very motivated to become an accomplished artist. His love for art gave him a knowledge and interest in artists such as: M.C. Escher, Dali, Di Chirico, and modern artist like George Fisher. Trying to bridge the abstract and non abstract among other art ism’s within his paintings he would use his knowledge of perspective and line from his construction background to shape analytical plains. Creating a world in which anything is possible. Describing stories and themes with his brush he captures the beauty of an unknown and surreal world. The method in which he creates is his work is never completely conceptualized at the beginning. He finds the concept through a process of understanding the piece of work while the work is in progress. He has been known to destruct and deconstruct pieces to find the right place for each of his creations. Using complex techniques and complex color pallets he makes art that will intrigue the viewing audience.
